Acceptance of my Summer Internship

This summer, I have been given the opportunity to work an internship for Stauffer Glove & Safety in Red Hill, PA. I will be interning as an account manager. Each week I am going to be experiencing different ends of the business. Topics include but are not limited to: Warehouse Orientation, Marketing, Customer Service, Sales Support, and National Account Management and Purchasing.

The core part of my internship will be working alongside the Marketing and Sales team to introduce a new marketing campaign. Once a new marketing campaign is implemented, I will then be going into surrounding territories and practicing a sales plan.

Also included in this internship is a CAP stone presentation lasting about 15-20 minutes. This includes my specific marketing campaign that I discussed earlier in this post. I will identify a product, a target market, and a sales plan. This will be presented at the end of my internship in August in front of the Stauffer Glove & Safety Sales and Leadership team.

My internship starts this following Monday, June 5th. I am thoroughly looking forward to learning and growing more as a professional throughout this process. Once the internship starts, I will be posting multiple times throughout the week, updating my readers on assignments I completed, tasks I worked on, and what I learned during that work week about marketing and Stauffer Glove and Safety.
